Laurie and Travis are high school sweathearts who enjoyed traveling the world, running marathons, snowboarding, mountain biking, and camping…in a previous life!  Laurie and Travis have been blessed with an brilliant, energetic 3 year old son (Jackson) who they adopted from Vietnam in December of 2007, a sweet, laid-back 2 year old son (Shane) who they adopted from Vietnam in January of 2008, and a 1.5 year old smiley, opinionated daughter (Finley) who they delivered in March of 2008.  Laurie graduated from medical school and put her career on hold to be the stay-at-home parent to their 3 munchkins.  She is currently doing dermatology research and is an applicant in this year’s residency Match.  At present, Travis is a stay-at-home dad by day, MD/MBA student by night.  They hope to someday live abroad with their kids and practice medicine in the developing world.
