DadGear GIVEAWAY – Father’s Day!
NOTE: single moms, dads, nannies, not-yet parents…EVERYONE is welcome to enter this giveaway contest! It would make a great Father’s Day gift, but this gear is awesome for anyone with kids in their lives (or plans to have kids in their lives).
Ok, so a friend introduced me to one of the coolest companies ever, especially if you have a husband who despises wearing a flowery tote to carry his kids’ necessities. This Colorado-based company is called DadGear and was founded by a couple of dads who wanted their own man gear that was functional and masculine. Their product line is genius, and there’s something extra special that sets them apart from other companies who carry daddy diaper bags…the Extra Quick Access Wipes. It’s basically a wipes container that is built into the diaper bag for easy access and prevents contamination of the other diaper bag contents. Have you ever become even moderately grossed out by your bag of wipes? You know me, I’m no germaphobe unless it involves poop…in which case I’m a total freak and I can’t stand the thought of touching the outside of the wipes bag, while my hands are filthy, then letting that wipes bag fall back into the diaper tote, where it is free to come in contact with the snack baggies, the sippie cups, and anything else I would like to keep E. coli free! I love the billboard bags! I had a cellphone case made out of billboard material, and it’s really cool.
My favorite bags ar the ones where you can see a remnant of the original image - like the window messenger bag (#693) or the eye backpack (#0088). I mean, how cool would it be to have that eye staring at all the people behind you?

I have a similar diaper-bag backpack to Travis, and I LOVE it. If I win this, it’s for my brother - he has 4 girls under 6 years old. My favorite product of theirs is the Courier bag in Green Retro Stripe - I’m probably ready to switch to that from my backpack now that Parker is almost 2 1/2.

I really like the cargo jacket. I’m not sure if my husband would actually wear a jacket or vest with a diaper in it, but I would love it for myself… it would be a lot easier than always lugging around the diaper bag.
The messenger Bags are really cool…my husband would probably love the Razor Flames or Eastern Sun. We just found out last week that we are expecting our first!!

My hubsand’s working on his MBA through CSU. We laugh because my one-year-old has tons of Rams gear, thanks to his Nana, but Dad doesn’t yet have any CSU stuff. How great would it be for Dad to have a CSU messenger bag to go with my son’s onesies!

As usual, can’t decide! It’s between the green or orange retro backpack or the green courier bag. My husband is currently using a lovely, large purse I bought in Vietnam with embroidered flowers on it. I decided it would make a pretty diaper bag. This is all we have - glad he’s comfortable with his feminine side!

I would love to have the messenger bag (Merle’s) for my hubby. He carries all his important goods from work to home and back sometimes in a grocery sack (so not cool). He could also throw a few diapers, wipes, books, snacks, a toy or so and sippy cups in there too. He would look waaaay cooler taking our sweetie to work with him carrying this bag. My husband got the vest as a baby shower gift - way cool for someone to think of HIM at the shower - and he loves it and brags to every dad he knows about it. He has yet to use it for its “dad” features but wears it nearly daily.
So since he already has that, I’d like to enter to win the backpack, but I really wish we could score one of the CU messenger bags for his 2nd year in grad school there this fall….

I really like the Basic Black Messenger Bag. My husband refuses to carry our daughter pink and purple diaper bag so instead just grabs one diaper and anything else he can carry our of it. He usually get into a store when my daughter decides to fill her diaper and he realizes he didnt carry the wipes. This would be perfect for him and maybe my daughter would lose what I call the daddy diaper rash ( she only gets it when he takes her out), lol.
