Mandy’s Moon Vietnamese Treetop Angel GIVEAWAY!

Laurie at Mandy’s Moon is sponsoring this giveaway that my readers with kids from Vietnam are especially going to love!! If you’re not ye familiar with Mandy’s Moon, you have to check it out, especially if your family has been touched by adoption. You’ll find everything from multicultural dolls to adoption announcements and personalized stuffed animals. You’ll also find many beautiful Precious Moments Treetop Angels exclusively available to Mandy’s Moon, including Chinese and Korean and Vietnamese angels. This Precious Moments Vietnamese Treetop Angel’s name is Huong, and she’s holding a lantern and wearing a very traditional Ao Dai that’s red with gold trim.
I’ll never forget when I was a kid and my dad came home with a Black treetop angel; I stared at it wondering why it’d never before occurred to me that angels are almost always portrayed in a pasty white skin tone. It’s interesting how little things like that can cement in a kids’ mind. I’m happy for my kids that there are now things like Asian baby dolls and Asian treetop angels! I really like the ornaments! I may just go back and order one commemorating C’s first Christmas. It was so hard last year, because he wasn’t with us yet and I had no idea what sort of ornament to get!

This is another great one Laurie! I just ordered Thank You Notes with a little Asian girl popping out of a stocking, and I spent an obscene amount of time choosing 3 perfect little grandaughters for a customized tree ornament for my parents!
I love the variety of Asian baby dolls she has. Ever wonder why you can go to the local Walmart but can’t find one Asian doll?

I too like the ornaments. They have 1st Christmas and 1st Christmas Home.
I really loved the ornament for families waiting for their little one. I remember last year just wishing the holidays were over because we had Maria’s referral but couldn’t get her yet. That’s a beautiful way of commerating that wait for families!

I have wanted this forever. I have ordered from Mandy before. She is wonderful. I am going to order a personalized ornament for Katie’s teacher.
One of my favorite products on Mandy’s site is the adoption ornaments. I plan to give my daughter an ornament based on her interests every year for Christmas. Her first ornament will be the “welcome home 2008″ with the Vietnamese toddler holding an American flag and a Vietnamese flag. I ordered it from her web-site a couple weeks ago and it’s adorable. It came within a matter of days. I would love to have the angel tree-topper as well.
What a cute tree topper! My sister would love this for her Precious Moments collection. There’s lots of cute stuff on Mandy’s web site. It’s hard to pick a favorite thing. I really like the two-sided ornaments.
Well, my kids aren’t adopted, but there’s no reason to not be multicultural. We love getting new ornaments each year for our tree…usually something unique with some meaning. I’ll definately be looking over her selection of ornaments a little better after thanksgiving. I loved what I saw so far.
If I won this giveaway, I just may keep it for myself, or I have three friends who I would have a tough time choosing between as a gift….oh well, I’ll cross that bridge when/if I come to it.
I’ve been visiting (and purchasing!) from Mandy’s Moon since 2001 when dd#1 came home from VN. I have so many ornaments with the Vietnamese little girls on them. We love them!! I sooooooooooo want that Tree Topper. I have coveted it for years!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the treetopper and would love to give it as a gift to my niece that is adopted from Cambodia. We adopted in the states, but we are are a blended family, as well. I loved her site and really thought that the ornaments were adorable. Once again, a very unique and nice giveaway!!
I think the tree topper is my favourite item from the site, but I also like the lunar New Year items because we celebrate Tet every year.
I really, really, really NEED the VNese tree topper angel. It goes perfectly with the colors on our red and gold “pretty” tree! In fact, I don’t think that tree has a topper. Not that I’d remember, because I was far too depressed to even decorate our house for Xmas last year. We just brought our daughter home from Vietnam six weeks ago, so discovering Mandy’s Moon is wonderful. If I had my druthers, I’d buy one of everything, but cornered, I’d say the tree topper and the adoption ornaments. Even if I don’t win the tree topper, I’m going to buy one for my folks’ tree…which is where Tulliver will be spending her first Christmas.
Very cool tree topper! It would be great to win it. I think Mandy’s Moon must buy her silk paintings from the man we did in Vung Tau! I was trying to see if she had the exact same on that’s hanging in my living room…
Oh, I love this topper! I also love the Pretty in Pink doll. She looks so much like my daughter! When I had a visitor coming from Vietnam this summer I asked her to bring Landry a doll and she said that the only ones she could find were blond hair and blue eyed! I am so glad to know about this site.
