Product Review and GIVEAWAY - AMBAJAM!!
Ok, first of all, I just want to remain totally transparent with the advertising and giveaways so you never think that every time I mention something it’s disingenuous. I am proactively contacting the companies with products by which I’ve been intrigued. They’re usually things I’ve stumbled across and think other people would love as well. I got a HUGE kick out of hearing someone say they were surprised I was BUYING giveaway items for my readers. Bwahahaha! I love you guys, but not that much! Here’s how it really goes…I find things I think are awesome products, usually created by small companies that would benefit from essentially free advertising, they give me cool products to try out and keep for my kids, I write a review and do a giveaway for my readers. Everyone wins, ya see?!
On to today’s review and giveaway. It’s a small, boutique-type company, called Ambajam. I first found them at a kiosk in a local mall - it totally grabbed my attention with the adorable prints on the clothes and quilts that were hanging from the stand. Ambajam makes REALLY high quality kids’ clothes, belts, blankets, hand-made quilts, pillows, burp clothes, etc. I just about fell over when I opened the box of goodies Ambajam sent me to sample; the stuff is beyond cute. Seriously, the blankies are made of THE. SOFTEST. MATERIAL. EVER. Ambajam makes a Cuddle-Up Baby blanket (blue) and a Mini Cuddle (orange) that’s totally portable (for the kid who never wants to leave home without his blankie!). And how cute is the turtle stitching?!
Here’s the awesome blue Ruffled Cuddle-Up Pillow with the same soft center as the blankies and adorable animals on the trim:
And the outfits? Well, judge for yourself (Shane’s onesie and belt, Jack’s T-shirt and pants). The colors and animal outlines were huge hits with my kids. And Jackson’s little cords with the frog silhouette to match his adorable frog T-shirt were too darn cute. Here are my boys, Amberjamin’!!
And in case you don’t believe me about the softest blankie EVER, feast your eyes on the kid who was previously in a VERY monogamous relationship with “Pinky the Bear.” Behold, “Homewrecker the Blankie:”
What you can’t see from this photo is that “Pinky” was quickly strewn aside when Jack was presented with “Homewrecker.” Stinky Pinky’s saggy, faded pink fabric, worn and weathered from months of tough love. And those lost, beady little eyes. Sniff. Replaced with the newness and fresh beauty of Homewrecker’s vivacious, vibrant, vivid orange fabric with perky pink trim. It was love at first sight. Sorry guys, I was going to use this orange mini cuddly as one of the giveaway items, but as you can see if you look closely at the above picture, Jackson wiped his ever-dripping nose all over it. He’s learned that yelling “mine” should be followed quickly by wiping his snot on the object of desire…works every time! His only competition is one very little, but very tough little sister, who just might give Jackson a run for his Mini Cuddle (she doesn’t so much care about the boogers he marked it with):

sqeaking in by the hair of my chiny chin chin on this one. the products look great and i’m always trying to find quality stuff that anna will grow out of before she destroys. she’s really into to small, portable blankets right now so that little mini blanket goes to the top of her christmas list whether we win or not. thanks for another great product intro!
